Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to all electrical work carried out by Atlas Grey Electrics, a domestic electrician service based in Glasgow, Scotland.
By booking our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Our Services
We provide domestic electrical services including (but not limited to) inspection and testing (EICRs), installations, consumer unit upgrades, EV charger installation, fault finding, and smoke detection systems. All work is carried out by qualified, insured professionals in accordance with UK regulations and industry standards.
2. Quotes and Estimates
- All quotes are free and without obligation.
- A written estimate will be provided before any work begins.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- If additional work is required, we will explain and price it before proceeding.
3. Booking and Payment
- A date will be agreed for the work to take place.
- Payment terms will be clearly outlined in your quote.
- Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on completion of work.
- Late payments may result in additional charges.
4. Cancellations
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice.
- Short-notice cancellations may incur a call-out fee if costs have already been incurred.
5. Access and Responsibility
- You are responsible for providing safe and clear access to the work area.
- We are not liable for delays caused by blocked access, unsafe conditions, or other issues beyond our control.
6. Workmanship Guarantee
- We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion.
- This does not cover faults caused by misuse, third-party damage, or unrelated electrical issues.
- Any products or parts we install will be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
7. Liability
- We carry public liability insurance and take all reasonable care when working in your property.
- We are not liable for pre-existing faults, damage caused by hidden issues (e.g. within walls), or delays outside our control (e.g. supply chain problems).
8. Privacy
We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice. Your information will never be sold or shared for marketing purposes.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version in place at the time of booking will apply to your project.
